Hubei Semiconductor Industry Association was established in Optics Valley

On July 8, Hubei Semiconductor Industry Association held its founding meeting in East Lake High-tech Zone.

Under the background of the country's vigorous development of the semiconductor industry, the Association was jointly initiated by Yangtze River Storage Technology Co., LTD., together with semiconductor enterprises and scientific research institutions in Hubei Province, and was approved by the Social Organization Administration Bureau of Hubei Provincial Civil Affairs on January 26 this year.

In the future, the association will mainly do a good job of serving enterprises, guiding the industry, contacting the government, and contributing to the development of Hubei semiconductor industry.

It is reported that Hubei is one of the provinces that determined the direction of semiconductor development earlier in China.

As early as 2006, Hubei Province, Wuhan City and Donghu High-tech Zone jointly invested and established Wuhan Xinxin Company to build the first 12-inch integrated circuit production line in the central region, laying a good foundation for the national memory base project to settle in Hubei in 2016.

After years of development, Hubei has 180 semiconductor related enterprises, of which 8 are listed companies, and the upstream and downstream industrial chain has initially taken shape.
